What's the story? No one seems to know anything about them... and
hear that they spread "Certain games on certain days"...

I want 1/2 NL100 or Limit 7-Stud H/L
And I want to play either or for three days straight unless I'm asleep
Also, I'd like a hotel within a walking distance (inexpensive)

Now that my lady friend aint going to go along and pay fo
everything, I don't want to waste any money, see.

There are really two options for you if you are going to be in Topeka.
Option #1 is to head north of town about half an hour to Harrah's Prarie
Band. I play regularly there. It has a small but respectable poker room.
All the details can be had on their website, but the short rundown is
this... Daily tournaments raning from $10-200 buy-ins. Hold'em base game
is 4/8, Stud is 3-6, Omaha Hi/Lo is also popular there. Wed. nights they
run no-limit Hold'em. Option #2 is to drive ~1hr east to Kansas City
where you can find action at either Ameristar or the newly opened Harrah's
poker room in KC.

There are several other Casino's within the same vicinity as Harrah's. I
don't know what table games they play. All Casino's are on the Indian
Reservation. Lodging, etc., is available in Topeka or I believe it is
Holton which is nearby and probably much less expensive than Harrah's.
Take a look at a map of the vicinity for an idea where things are
located. Gas, etc., is much cheaper than else where on Reservation
Casino's. Good driving conditions (highway) from Topeka to the Casino's
but watch your speed, lot's of tickets are written in this stretch.
