Trump revealed his strategy to deal with negative poll results in a
speech at CPAC on the weekend "If it's bad, I say it's fake. If it's
good, I say that's the most accurate poll ever."
The crowd loved it, blissfully unaware that the joke's on them. His
Big Lie about the election being stolen that has them all freaked out
is just an obvious example of this strategy. Trump could hold up a
banana, tell his followers that it's apple AND tell them he's lying,
and they would believe that it's an apple. It's a fascinating look
into the psychology of a cult.
